Rhyme

Rhyme XM 65
Snoop Dogg's Classic Hip-Hop/Rap

I don't care for hip-hop/rap music. It's not that I'm overwhelmed by the beats (certainly not) or offended by the scatological lyrics (naughty words in music stopped being entertaining to me decades ago) and gangster posturing (oooh, they're tough guys), I find it all kind of amusing.

The music is too repetitive and most of it sounds looped. The vocals are highly redundant also. At one point I thought my record player was skipping, but then remembered that I haven't listened to one in years . . . so I'll just skip this channel too.

Heard on Rhyme:
Erick Sermon, Bmdigi; Xzibit, Eyes May Shine; Delinquent Habit, Tres Delinquent; Brand Nubian, All for One; Onyx, Throw Ya Gunz; Roxanne Shante, Brothers Aint Shit; Chubb Rock, Ya Bad Chubbs; Grave Diggaz, Nowhere to Run; Rakim, It's Been A Long Time; Capone-N-Noreaga, T.O.N.Y; INI, Fakin Jax; Method Man, Bring the Pain.

Time spent listening: about 30 minutes or so.
